My review – 4 December 2013
I’ve received “subscription boxes” from various companies, so I have some experience in reviewing these. For my Birthday, today, I received The Project DIY Joan of Arc Collection Kit. The Project DIY Kits are all theme related, jewelry making kits.
My Project DIY box was filled with some really nice items to make jewelry, even the packaging was appealing.
My box included:
My box included:
- Two Project DIY Jewelry Kits; The Shield Necklace and the Warrior Cuff Kits.
- My free Starter Kit included: Needle Nose Pliers, Wire Cutter, Chain Nose Pliers, Jump Ring Opener, Assorted Clasps, Earring Hooks, Jump Rings, and Chain Extenders. The ultimate collection of tools for every DIYer!
What my Project DIY box did not contain was a cheap bottle of glittery nail polish, a dollar store sample of hand cream, foam separators for painting my toes, a shiny stone that will bring me luck, perfume that reminds me of a nursing home and a candle that is guaranteed to make my ex take me back. I never wanted these in the first place. Alas, I’m am destined to get them. Wont my ex’s wife be surprised?
The goal for Project DIY, whether you’re a DIY master or just getting started, is to deliver subscribers everything needed to create stylish and unique accessories each month. This includes a wonderful selection of specialty trims, as well as notions and findings to finish the projects. For novice DIY enthusiasts, they also offer the option to purchase a Starter Kit that includes all the basic tools for jewelry-making, as well as step-by-step instructions on how to use these tools, and clever tips n’ tricks. For the more advanced DIY devotees, they have plenty of inspiration and ideas on how to customize your projects and more advanced embellishing tips.
